Certified sauna master-led rituals for individuals, couples or families. Herbal hot tubs, sauna whisking and rejuvenating treatments.
A SAUNA RITUAL is a sauna visit led by a professional sauna master – for one, for two or for a larger group. Unwind completely and discover new sensations.
"Bathe in the sauna with a fresh birch whisk, and your body will stay white."
Seven steps that bring together traditional Latvian sauna practice and our sauna masters' own touch.
The ritual begins in a gently warm herbal hot tub that prepares body and mind for the sauna. Fragrant herbs help you relax and let go of everyday stress.
Warm medicinal herbal tea, rich in natural vitamins and minerals, readies the body for the steps ahead.
Whisking is the heart of the sauna ritual. The sauna master works over the body with steamed birch, oak and other leafy whisks – fanning hot steam, pressing and gently patting – to bring deep relaxation, stimulate circulation and cleanse the skin.
A scrub of medicinal herbs and salt gently removes dead skin cells and leaves the skin renewed.
Warm honey is massaged into the skin to moisturise it deeply, leaving it soft, clear and glowing. It calms the mind as well.
After the whisking, the sauna master leads you to the cool pond for a dip. The cold water cools the skin and invigorates the circulation.
After the hot-and-cold contrast, you are wrapped in warm blankets to rest in the fresh air. This quiet rest settles the circulation and closes the ritual in complete peace.
